Biography/history |
Musakhan was born on 30 May 1863, in Karachi, Sindh. He arrived Australia in 1894 and married Sophia Blitz from a German-Jewish family in 1898. He was a newsagent in Brisbane Street, Perth between 1904-1906. He was also known as first Ahmadi Muslim in Australia and founded the Perth Mosque. He was the representative of Camel Men for various official events between 1896-1927. Musakhan was also a scholar who wrote articles in newspapers, essays and books. He died in 1945. |
