Summary
Stella (Estellita Roma) Strong (real name Zelda Strunc) was born in Czechoslovakia and was imprisoned by the Nazis at 13 in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp for four years. She arrived in Kalgoorlie in 1972. For many years she ran the Red House brothel 143 Hay St, Kalgoorlie. A chapter of Dirty girl : the state sanctioned murder of brothel madam Shirley Finn by Juliet Wills (2015) is devoted to Stella Strong. Stella died in 2008.
