Summary |
Norman Mitchell was born at East Fremantle on 6 April 1913 enrolled at the Hale School in 1926 and paid some of the fees by becoming laboratory assistant. Enrolled at UWA at 1930 at Irwin Street in the Engineering Department. He reminisces his university days at Irwin Street, his professors and the procession of graduates along Perth streets. He also recalls his second year, 1931, spent at the Crawley campus and the clubs he joined. Norman was appointed Guild's President in 1932. |
