Biography/history |
Miss Jean Ethel Rogerson was the Warden of Convocation for the University of Western Australia for eight years and a member of the University Senate for 30 years. Erica was appointed to The Order of the British Empire - Member (Civil) in 1982. |
Summary |
Miss Jean Ethel Rogerson talks about her background, her early childhood and parents, her education at Perth College and University of Western Australia in 1942, her career and contributions to the University of Western Australia. She also compares UWA graduates over the years. She narrates her first job at UWA was with the Institute of Agriculture working on the spinning of the quality of the wool fibre and working with Prof. Andrew Stewart and Prof. Underwood. |
