Biography/history |
Emeritus Professor Brian John Grieve in 1947 became the head of the Botany Department at the University of Western Australia, in 1957, he became the Department's Foundation Professor. He serve twice as President of the Royal Society of Western Australia and was awarded the Sociey's medal in 1979. He was on the King's Park Board from 1959 to 1978. He is best known for his contributions to the How to Know Western Australian Wildflowers multi-volume book series. |
