Summary |
Kathleen Criena King born in Kalgoorlie in 1916 and lived in South Perth and studying at Perth College. Kathleen entered University of Western Australia in 1933 and graduated with Honours in German in 1936. She talks about her lecturer which included Economics professor, Edward Owen Shann and Professor Clarke. She taught for 2 years before going to London to work in various NGOs such as German-Jewish Aid Committee and RAND. She was in Melbourne from 1948-1951. Kathleen went back to Great Britain in 1951 and went on to Geneva and spent 23 years working with the International Labour Organization (I.L.O.) |
