Includes the Mayor J.T. Franklin officially welcoming the royal couple, the Duke inspecting the honour guard, the Duke and Duchess walking in Kings Park and the Duke horse riding in Lesmurdie. The royal couple spent the weekend of 21/22 May at Lesmurdie House. King George VI and his wife visited six days in Western Australia when still the Duke and Duchess of York from 18 to 23 May 1927.
