| Summary |
Written on back of original print: Likeness taken in Perth. 52nd year of his age. Information provided by Treen Family: Thomas Treen was a surveyor employed by the WA Land Company who arrived in Western Australia on the Island Queen in December 1840. He married Susan Mary Earnshaw in 1863 and they had one son Lewis Fitzwilliam Treen. Thomas died in September 1865 and is believed to be buried in the East Perth Cemetery. |
