Summary
A crowd watches as a dray, loaded with gold ingots packed in wooden boxes, is prepared to transport its precious cargo to the railway station, from there it was loaded into a safe inside a special railway van and shipped to the Perth Mint. A similar photograph is published in the Kalgoorlie Western Argus 16 June 1903, p.51.
