Biography/history |
Julius Elischer was born and educated in Budapest. He designed many civic buildings, churches, schools, commercial, industrial, residential, and retirement villages in Western Australia, interstate and overseas. He had a special interest in low-cost building materials (source: Post News, Perth, 21 February 2004). |
Summary |
Includes architectural drawings, charts, maps, plans, specifcation documents and correspondence relating to designs by J.W. Elischer. The collection also includes documents for the proposed mining township of Marandoo, including port extensions. Also includes Elischer's examination papers from the Architects Registration Board of Victoria and the Architects Board of Western Australia and photocopies of Certificates of Title for Lot 147 Tenth Avenue, Maylands. |
