Summary |
She talks about coming to Perth at age 5 to Bassendean from Adelaide. At 14, she went to stay with the Whitfelds at West Swan from 1927-35 when her parents went to live in the country. Professor Whitfeld has a 10-acre vineyard, fig trees, beehives, milking cows and some farming animals. She shares memories of living with Professor Hubert Whitfeld and his family. |
