Biography/history |
Editor W.K. Shenton arrived in WA on the "Lotus" in 1829. With his cousin Arthur and Charles Macfaull, he published in 1831 the "Fremantle observer", "Perth gazette" and "Western Australian journal" under the editorship of Macfaull who received three quarters of the ownership. Shenton drowned on a voyage to Bunbury in 1842. |
