Summary |
Letters (1907-1940); correspondence with L. Glauert (of the W.A. Museum) concerning specimens while at Ooldea native camp (1922-1935); several drafts of "The passing of the Aborigines" with notes used in the preparation of the mss. The bulk of the National Library of Australia's Daisy Bates collection is the manuscript of her work "The native tribes of Western Australia", written during her period of service with the Western Australian government from 1904-1912. Many of the drafts have been annotated by A.R. Radcliffe-Brown, a British social anthropologist. |
