Detailed listing: 1 ring binder containing an index of the Australian images, an index of the overseas images and a detailed listing of all images in the collection showing their assigned negative number, album sleeve number and print number. A photocopy of the original handwritten indexes is also included. |

Negatives were housed in ten albums marked A-J. At the front of each album was a handwritten subject index which referred to a numbered sleeve within the album. Each sleeve may have held multiple negatives. Many of the negatives had been removed from the sleeves when received and the photographer's order was recreated. Album U (unknown) is an artifically created 'album' of images which did not fit into any of the ten album categories. |

| Biography/history |
Abraham (Izzy) Orloff set up his own studio known as La Tosca in Victoria Avenue, North Fremantle in 1922. By the mid twenties, he had moved his studio to High St Fremantle where he became a well known identity for over forty years. |
