| Biography/history |
Vera Whittington was born in Narrogin in 1915. She was a writer and historian whose publications include: Gold and typhoid – two fevers : a social history of Western Australia, Sister on Patrol : from the missionary experiences of Sister Dorothy Pederick, Sister Kate: a life dedicated to children in need of care, and Rowethorpe writings, a selection. Vera also wrote for radio and school broadcast dramas in the 1970s, as well as articles for various journals. |
