Six of these photographs were received as glass negatives held in Dr Battye's collection of glass negative (8956B) and also appear in an album of photographs of Seaforth Boys' Home held at BA953. Captions and date span have been supplied by the donor of the album.
BA953/68: The frowning boy with hair parted in the middle in the third row from the top is Henry Albert Brunsgard, on his left in the same row is his brother Fred Appelgren Brunsgard. Another inmate Tom Billings may also appear in this photograph.
Glass negatives have been made by photographing prints (not the same prints as are in the album held by this library).
