Biography/history |
Warburton Mission was established in 1933 as an out station of Mount Margaret Mission and in 1937 became a separate facility. Aboriginal children either lived at the mission with families or were sent there for schooling. The Mission had a pedal wireless set to send and receive messages. It closed in 1977. |
