Biography/history	Founded in 1862 by Attorney General G.F. Stone, Lt. Col. J. Bruce, Adjutant General W.Knight, Rev. G.P. Pownall and Magistrate H. Wakefield. The first loan of 50 pounds was given against the security of land on which the GPO now stands. PBS became the Challenge Bank in 1987.
