Summary
A Gallipoli veteran. Enlisted 17 August 1914 aged 48, left Australia 14 December 1914. Died aged 72 11 April 1938 and buried at Karrakatta. Sergeant Major Moorhouse is seated, wearing a slouch hat, puttees and a medical unit badge. Note that some army records spell his name as Moorehouse. The enlistment papers held at National Archives of Australia clearly show the name as Moorhouse.
