Summary
E.W. Moorhouse enlisted 10 September 1914 aged 22 years and left Australia 22 December 1914. He was killed in action at Gallipoli 2 May 1915. Private Moorhouse is wearing a Field Service cap and puttees. See also 108132PD. Some army records have the name spelled at Moorehouse. The original enlistment papers held by the National Archives of Australia clearly show the name as Moorhouse.
