Biography/history At the November 2008 HMAS Sydney commemorations in Geraldton, Western Australia, members of the Burnsyde family made themselves known to the Curator of Maritime Archaeology to show mementos of William Burnsyde. These unique and hitherto unseen items were then lent to the Western Australian Museum for copying. WAM felt it appropriate to share the images with SLWA, AWM, the National Maritime Museum and SeaPower Centre.
