Biography/history Irish poet transported to Western Australia in 1868 on a charge of intended mutiny against the British government. His imprisonment in Western Australia was cheered by the friendship of two Roman Catholic priests, Father Lynch in Fremantle and Father Patrick McCabe in Bunbury.
