Biography/history	Frederica Lucy (known as Rica) Erickson (nee Sandilands) was a West Australian historian and botanist, born in 1908. She published books on botany, including Triggerplants, as well as historical biographies and the five volume "Dictionary of Western Australians, 1829-1914". She was awarded the OAM, an honorary Doctor of Literature from the University of Western Australia and was also West Australian Citizen of the Year. She died in 2009.
