CONTENTS ACC 10060A/1: Handwritten and signed letter and envelope to Mary Walton in UK from Bon Scott, Bondi Junction, Sydney, Aug 1975 -- ACC 10060A/2: Handwritten and signed letter and envelope to Mary Walton in Richmond, Victoria from Bon Scott, Bond Court Hotel, Cleveland, Ohio, Aug 1977
Summary Two very rare and lengthy manuscript autograph letters signed by Bon Scott, the AC/DC lead singer, to his friend Mary Walton when she was in London and he was in Bondi Junction recording AC/DC's new album at Alberts music studios, in August 1975. Bon was telling Mary that the group has already recorded two songs a couple of months ago, one was "High Voltage" and the other was "She's Got the Jack". The other letter was to Mary Walton when he was touring in Cleveland, Ohio, August 1977. Bon described Texas and that it took a couple of weeks to get used to the size, speed and Americanism of the place. He also described that he and the bass player were stopped by two cop cars and got frisked by them outside a gig one night. He also described spending four days on the beach in West Palm Beach, Florida.
