Summary |
Black and white footage of Swanleigh is interspersed with colour footage. The sign Swan Boys Home may indicate that the black and white footage is pre the 1943 amalgamation of the Swan Boys Orphanage and Perth Girls Orphanage. The colour footage shows both boys and girls at Swanleigh. The children are shown : milking cows ; tending to the gardens ; chopping wood ; doing woodwork ; going to church and looking after farm animals. The buildings and the grounds are shown in detail. |
