| Biography/history |
Emeritus Professor David Henry Curnow, appointed Head of the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 1953 and Professor of Clinical Biochemistry from 1968-85 and head of the combined Biochemistry Services at the QEII Medical Centre from 1974. He was Fellow of Australian Biochemical Institute, Fellow of the Australian Association of Biochemists and Honorary Fellow of Royal College of Pathologists Australasia. He was appointed an Officer (AO) in the Order of Australia for service to science, particularly in the field of clinical chemistry. |
