Biography/history
Until 1900 the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Western Australia operated as a District of the South Australia Conference of the Australasian Wesleyan Methodist Church. In 1900, the Western Australia Conference was formed. In 1902 the various Methodist Churches in Australasia united to form the Methodist Church of Australasia. In 1977 the Methodist Church of Australasia united with the Presbyterian Church of Australia and the Congregational Union of Australia to form the Uniting Church in Australia
